Excursion:
The Blue Hole in Dahab is a national park, where tourists come from all over the world; here you can see one of the most unique coral reefs on the planet.
Around 7:30 am, we will receive you by our minibus from the village and we will immediately start the journey towards the Egyptian Sinai desert; once you arrive in Dahab (gold, in Arabic), it will also be possible to go on a safari on a quad bike (optional); this vehicle will allow us to reach the most inaccessible corners and enjoy the beauty of the landscape in its entirety.
The rocks and sand dunes form a majestic and exotic environment, which we can immortalize with our cameras.
Then we will mount a camel, which will take us along the beaches of Dahab; we will have the opportunity to learn more about these special animals that are able to withstand the high temperatures of the desert; And also to get to know the Bedouin people, especially the children who will welcome us with great hospitality: we will see with our own hands the enormous contradiction of this city, so rich in nature but so poor in money… However, these children will not ask you for any money… only food and sweets… and this will bring a smile to their faces… Once you arrive in the coastal city of Dahab, it will be time to go diving in the Blue Hole: meaning “blue abyss”: a natural formation, 80 to 120 meters deep, which was created by the erosion of limestone rocks; currently, it is recognized as one of the diving paradises of the Red Sea; under the water, we will be able to admire the amazing coral reefs, with colorful fish, inhabitants of this strange cavity on the coast of Egypt. We will have lunch in a Bedouin-style restaurant overlooking the Blue Hole; Then we will tour the city of Dahab to learn about the life of these people… After that we will visit a shopping center, where precious stones are sold… Rubies, sapphires, aquamarines, corals, emeralds, diamonds… Dahab is famous for the richness of its precious stones…
At the end of the day, by jeep, riding the sand dunes of the desert, we will reach the colorful Wadi Salama, to walk for about an hour inside its cracks: the jewel of nature! Here we will also meet the Bedouins… women and girls in particular… We will be impressed by their spontaneity and simplicity… A lesson in life…
Before returning to the jeep, we will drink tea that they offer us in a typical tent.
Once back in our minibus, at the end of the day, certainly tired but happy with everything we have been through, we will return to Sharm el-Sheikh… We will stop for a rest at the Bedouin service station… to end our day on a happy note…
